The EU-funds-addicted community spends summer afternoons preparing the next application with a September deadline…and burning midnight oil. There is another tradition every second year: scouting the available funding opportunities for the next two years in (leaked) Cluster Work Programmes.
This is what we did too. By following Science Business, we are up to date on the latest developments in the science and research community, including draft Work Programmes for the next two years.
In reviewing the available versions of three work programmes 2023-2024, we produced some interesting information we might refer to as the “cluster-barometer”.
Which Destinations are receiving more attention by the EC in programming the next two years of funding?

Cluster 3 – Civil Security for Society
Cluster 4 – Digital, Industry and Space
