Horizon Europe, the current Framework Programme of the European Union for R&I is one of the largest and most ambitious Programmes of the Union. Organizations from the EU and non-EU Member States can apply for funding to help lead Europe’s research and innovation, generating a concrete impact on society, research, and the environment.
With the evolution of the Framework Programmes, from FP1 to FP9 (Horizon Europe), Portugal has been a successful participant in EU R&I programs since 1980. The following is a snapshot of Portugal’s participation in Horizon Europe since its launch in early 2021.
