Running from 2014 to 2020 with a €80 billion budget, Horizon 2020 is the leading opportunity for academia and industry to finance research and development activities. The call for proposals aims for the development of three main areas: Excellent Science, Competitive Industries and Tackling Societal Challenges.

EFMC informs and supports beneficiaries on all the financial issues they may face during the project life. If you face any specific issues concerning your running H2020 project them most probably Consulting Sevices would be the best option for you.

You may face some financial (eligible taxes, eligible direct costs or personnel costs…), organisational (indirect cost model analysis, productive hour calculation…) or administrative (relevant timesheets) issues that you didn´t expect.

EFMC will analyse these issues, find the best solutions according to your specific situation (it may be different if you are a SME, a private or a public company, a University…) and try to optimise your costs declaration. In-depth analysis of organization’s internal procedures is being conducted, whereby we analyse costs declaration and verify that they comply with the European Commission’s financial requirements. Our aim is to identify your EU project management strengths and weaknesses and to give advice on recommendations regarding your internal organisation.

The consultancy is usually divided in many different phases with a preliminary analysis of the theoretical aspects of FP7 and H2020, which are necessary to understand the requirements of the Grant Agreement.
