On the 14th and 15th of October 2019 the Kick-off meeting of the EU-Learning Project took place in Berlin, Germany. The innovative project funded under Erasmus+ KA2 focuses on creating an EU network for organizations and on the creation of an handbook on funding programme for the new funding period 2021-2027.

As starting point it takes the absence of specific transnational networks in Europe promoting the collaboration between organisations working with and in European funding, in the field of adult education.

Its fundamental target group are on the one side, training organisations, (1st target group) needing to innovate the way they organise and implement trainings, particularly in fields that have still a disrupting potential like e-learning, use of ICTs, distance teaching or blended learning. On the other side, individuals/adult learners seeking additional qualifications in EU funding relevant for the labor market. They represent the 2nd target group of the present project.

During the meeting partners from Germany (EUFRAK-EuroConsults Berlin GmbH), from Italy (Prodos Consulting), from Portugal (Instituto Pedro Nunes), from Belgium (European Projects Association), from Estonia (European Fund Management Consulting), from Croatia (Informo), from Spain (Associacion Building Bridges) agreed on the working plan for the rest of the coming year and discussed the development and design of the project results and activities.

Those are expected to be:

– Handbook on new funding programmes – defined from partner countries in order to provide an overview on the new funding programmes for 2021-2027.

– Creation of an EU-Wide network and mapping of organisations active at European level in the field of education related to EU funding.

– A common declaration by the partnership on expectations and wishes for the new funding period directed to EU decision makers and EU institutions

Furthermore, partners planned the next meetings in Rome and Tallinn, which will  be held in February 2020 and June 2020.

The project will run over 22 months, from 01.10.2019 till the 31.07.2021 and was funded from the German National Agency for Erasmus + NABIBB.
