About the Training

The former H2020 Participant Portal is now part of the Funding & Tender opportunities Single Electronic Data Interchange Area (SEDIA).

This is the entry point for beneficiaries, participants and experts in funding programmes and tenders managed by the European Commission and other EU bodies. Our training covers all areas with a special focus on H2020.

The Funding & Tenders Portal is the most important tool for finding information, preparing and submitting the proposal and managing the contract of research & innovation projects under Horizon 2020 and the others R&I Programmes. In this training you will learn how to use the tool efficiently.

The full training course takes place over 2 days. Each day is divided into theoretical and practical parts with many opportunities for the participants to ask specific questions related to their entity and clarifications of the outstanding issues.

Day 1 focusses on all the The Funding & Tenders Portal features, including the entire process from user registration to legal entity Registration & Validation, the users “roles”, how to exploit the portal for business intelligence and development, the involvement of users as experts in the evaluation of proposals and other opportunities from the EU institutions.

Day 2 focuses on the processes of proposal submission and grant management, including continuous and periodic technical & financial reporting, along with an insight into the consequences of breaching obligations on GA management and errors in filling financial statements.
